Brunson is home!
We went to pick Brunson up today at 5. They brought him into the exam room and he was so happy to see us! He cried and cried and his tail was going crazy. He thinks he’s a lap dog so he was laying on both of us. He has to be on a bland diet of chicken and rice for 5 more days. Robert sat in the back seat to hold him while we drove home. He does very good in the car but he kept farting!
We got home and I put Annabelle in her crate because I knew they would both be excited to see each other and he is supposed to just lay around for a week or so. (we’re trying very hard)
He was in such good spirits! He has been loving on us all night. He can only have 1/2 cup of food so he is starving!
We took a picture of his incision, it hurts to just look at it but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. We take him back in 10 days to have the staples removed. We hope he gains some weight, at 5 1/2 months he should be around 70 lbs and after being sick and surgery he was down to 56 lbs.
