We went to dinner tonight to OPA! a very authentic greek restaurant. We went with two friends and their greek friend Niki. What a great woman! We learned a lot about greece and the food.

I had 2 cosmopolitans, everyone else had Grey Goose on the rocks for cocktails. We let Niki order for us all and we ate ‘family style’.

We had beef and rice wrapped in grape leaves, sliced tomatoes, cucumber and Feta cheese, hummus, some kind of hummus type spread made of cucumber, yogurt and garlic that we put on a pita. Then we had lamb, some great potatoes, greek style lasagna, greek salad and so much more.

They have live entertainment which was fun. Two guys that were singing in greek but it was good. I had never seen a belly dancer but I know that the girl that night was very good. My husband was the only man at our table so everyone paid her to “shake it’ near him. lol I took my camera but it the batteries were dead. He tipped her and she really shook it. hehe

We had something I can’t pronounce for desert but I can tell you, it was heaven! It was accompanied by a shot of something that would have started our car!

We stayed for 3 hours and had a blast!
