The Harlem Globetrotters came to Vegas this past weekend and we went to The Orleans to see them. I had seen them back ‘in the day’ when they had Curly, Meadowark Lemon and those guys. It was funny because I recognized some of the jokes from 25 years earlier. During the introduction we heard that THREE of the players were 6′ 10″ tall!

Their Mascot Globie performed a few times and we laughed and laughed. He could dance very good and was quite funny. We saw several people we knew there.

We saw the 11 am show but they had a 2pm show and they were to play Dennis Rodman’s All-Stars. At half time Dennis Rodman came out and waved to the crowd.

The Black Eyed Peas had been there the night before and we were just sick that we missed them! I will have pictures posted on Flickr very soon.

After the show we went to eat at Sweet Tomatoes. Yum.
