Ben & Jerry Diet
Went to the Dr. today, my blood pressure was 90/100. I will be older than 39 in a few months and I guess I am starting to worry. The days of eating whatever I want are gone! New lifestyle coming ahead. Dammit. I was good today but then at 9pm I had a huge craving for Ben & Jerry’s peanut butter cup. Hubby went to the store and got me a pint and got him a pint of Chunky Monkey. I really find it hard to believe that a pint isn’t a single serving so I ate the entire pint! It was SO good but I felt guilty afterwards, as usual! I just kept thinking, ‘Oh my goodness, I ATE my willpower!’ It is just gone! I used to be able to drop a few pounds in no time, now I can’t diet for a day!
I’ve thought about weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutri-System, low fat, South Beach, Atkins, Macrobiotics, blah, blah, blah.
Bottom line is, I am overwhelmed and don’t know where to start or what to do. Just 30 lbs and I’ll be happy!
I tired Atkins a few years ago but I can’t eat that much meat. I don’t eat red meat at all so it was really hard. I think I am the only person who actually GAINED weight on that darn diet.
I think I am going to have a ‘health’ category where I can blog about my progress or failure. Maybe if I make it ‘public’ I’ll have to keep with it out of fear of embarrassment!
